VIOXX DANGER

It has been stated that people are in Vioxx danger if they have taken Vioxx at all or for extended periods of time. It is said that if the people have not noticed symptoms or had heart and cardiovascular issues, they probably will in years to come.

The Vioxx danger doesn’t make any sense for people who have taken the drug and are not experiencing symptoms. The class action lawsuit for the Vioxx danger is for people or family members who suffered from heart attacks, died, or had family members that were affected due to the use of Vioxx. Thousands of people have suffered from dangerous side effects and some people have died.

People who have suffered from the Vioxx danger have a certain time frame to join the class action lawsuit if they can find an attorney. That time frame is three years. Those people who have suffered symptoms from the use of Vioxx and they don’t file a lawsuit within the three year period lose their right to file a claim.

The problem is that millions and millions of people have taken Vioxx. It is said up to 90 million prescriptions were written for the Vioxx drug. It is stated that every person that has taken the drug is susceptible to heart failure. The people that have suffered the heart failures, kidney disease, and other problems were obese, diabetics, and suffered from a weak heart in the first place. This shows a good reason why they were the first to show the side effects of the Vioxx danger. However, the Vioxx problem that has not come out yet is the healthy people who took the drug. Of the 90 million prescriptions, it is safe to say at least 45 million of the prescriptions were filled and taken. Under 20,000 people had heart attacks and symptoms and had health risks that assisted with the problems. Doctors say that the other people, the 45 million, who have not noticed side effects will eventually. These people may suffer heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, and more. The problem is that they will be past the three year stipulation for filing a lawsuit against the Vioxx danger and Merck.

The true Vioxx danger is for the people who didn’t suffer symptoms and cannot file a lawsuit anymore. These people may in a few years suffer heart failure from taking the drug and there is nothing legally they can do.
